Biography:
Dylan McLaughlin (born December 2, 1993) is an American actor. He has appeared in a number of television series such as ER and Bones as well as motion pictures such as Alice Upside Down, Georgia Rule, and Kicking & Screaming. Dylan has also appeared as Benji in iCarly.
McLaughlin was born in La Mesa, California. His brother acted before he did and by the time his brother ended his career, Dylan began his career saying he was originally encouraged by his brother. McLaughlin says he suffers from stage fright and because of this does not act on stage very often. He is quoted as saying one of his main passions is skateboarding.
In 2008, McLaughlin was nominated for both the 'Best Performance in a Feature Film' and 'Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special' as a Supporting Young Actor and Leading Young Actor respectively at the Young Artist Awards.
