Shanica Channell Knowles (born November 17, 1990) is an American actress and singer. She is best known for playing Amber Addison on Hannah Montana.
She is best known for playing Amber Addison on Hannah Montana, and for playing Shauna Keaton in Jump In!. She has also portrayed Vanessa on Unfabulous She made a small appearance in the beginning of Super Sweet 16: The Movie starring Aly & AJ.
In July 2007, she appeared in a second-season episode of Hannah Montana as Amber Addison, a popular high school girl who is a rival of Miley Stewart. She is best friends with Ashley, (Anna Maria Perez de Taglé). She is the boss of Ashley and only tells her to snap and clap instead of singing. And she bosses Miley around all the time. Also in 2007, she appeared in nearly all of the episodes in the first-season of Hannah Montana as Amber Addison. Shanica appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show dancing in the audience on July 8, 2008 like Ellen does at the beginning of every show. She also appeared in a State Farm commercial in August 2007. Presently she will film upcoming episodes of Hannah Montana.
